Tramway is a renowned international arts venue in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow’s southside, with an interdisciplinary spirit whose mission is to enrich and inspire its communities by providing ambitious, innovative and culturally relevant contemporary visual art and performance. It is one of the festival’s principal venues.

To get there:
We are keen to encourage active travel to our festival and have provided information for all our venues. You may also wish to take advantage of the electric bicycle scheme, Voi, which operates on a pay as you go, prepaid or subscription basis. There are pick up and drop off points throughout the city.
- By bike: There are uncovered bike racks outside the venue.
- By bus: From Queen Street (West Nile Street) or Central Station (Jamaica Street): 3, 38, 38B, 57 and 57A to Coplaw Street Bus stop (6/5 stops). Approximately 3 min walk.
- By train: From Central Station High Level take trains marked Neilston, Newton Mearns or Cathcart to Pollokshields East station which is directly beside Tramway. This station has two flights of stairs (16 and 14 steps) with handrails and does not have a lift.
The nearest step-free accessible station is Crossmyloof. This is a 20min walk (0.9 miles) via Darnley Road. - By subway: The nearest underground station is Bridge Street. There is step free access to the ticketing concourse. There are three flights of stairs to the platform.
From the station take the number 3, 38, 38B, 57 and 57A from Eglinton Toll to Coplaw Street Bus stop.
The route is mostly flat. - By car: There is free on-street parking on Albert Drive. Blue Badge holders can park for any length of time. There is a drop off and pick up point directly outside the venue.
