The Rum Shack is Glasgow’s original Caribbean bar, canteen and venue.
Everything from Reggae to Ragtime, the cocktail bar hosts live music in their 250 capacity venue, alongside stand up comedy gigs, theatre performances, artisan markets and community based events.

To get there:
We are keen to encourage active travel to our festival and have provided information for all our venues. You may also wish to take advantage of the electric bicycle scheme, Voi, which operates on a pay as you go, prepaid or subscription basis. There are pick up and drop off points throughout the city.
- By bus: From Queen Street (West Nile Street) or Central Station (Jamaica Street): 3, 38, 38B, 57 and 57A to Strathbungo Parish Church Bus stop (8/6 stops) approximately 1 min walk).
- By train: From Central Station High Level take trains marked Newton to Queens Park station which is a 3 min walk to the venue. This station has three flights of stairs(17, 17 and 7 steps) with handrails, and does not have a lift. The nearest step-free accessible station is Crossmyloof. This is a 14 min walk (0.7 miles) via Titwood Road/Pollokshaws Road.
- By subway: The nearest underground station is Bridge Street then take the number 3, 38, 38B, 57 and 57A to Strathbungo Parish Church Bus stop.
- By car: There is pay and display on street parking on Pollokshaws Road. Blue Badge holders can park for free and any length of time.
