GFT has been leading the way in specialised cinema for 50 years. Their three screens show 100% specialised titles, first run world and independent cinema, artists’ experimental work, issue based programmes, thematic seasons, repertory programmes, Scottish produced work, festivals, and a programme of event cinema and live broadcast.
GFT’s mission is to provide ‘Cinema For All’, as well as celebrating the magic of film and nurture excellent independent cinema from across the globe.

To get there:
On foot: From Central Station (Gordon Street) is a 15 min walk (0.8 miles) via Hope Street Street and Sauchiehall Street. From Queen Street (Dundas Place) is a 13 min walk (0.6 miles) via Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street. The route is mostly flat with a slight incline from Sauchiehall Street to Rose Street.
By bus: From Central Station (Argyle Street):
3, 4 and 4A to Sauchiehall Lane Bus stop. From Queen Street (St Vincent Place): 18 to Sauchiehall Lane Bus Stop. The route is flat.
By subway: The nearest underground station is Cowcaddens. There is step free access to the concourse. Access to the platforms is by escalator and one flight of stairs (14 steps) with handrails. The route via Rose Street involves a steep climb and gradual descent to Sauchiehall Street.
By car: There is pay and display on street parking on Rose Street and adjoining roads. Blue Badge holders can park for free and any length of time.
