During the height of the pandemic in 2020, Cryptic launched Sonic Bites, a sensory series of audiovisual appetisers aimed to invigorate and inspire, providing an escape from emails and online meetings. 40 artists presented work specififically for screen rather than video or typical live performance. Highlighted artists include Heloise Tunstall-Behrens & Auclair, Diane Edwards, Lucian Fletcher, Veronica Petukhov & Samm Anga, Tom Frazer, Simon Tong, Hammy Sgìth & Marianne Wilson.
