Sonica in partnership with The Glasgow School of Art presents a talk with Robert Henke.
Robert Henke is an artist working on the intersection between composition, performance, visual arts, and coding. Finding creative resonances in a dialogue with technology is a core aspect of his creative practice. In this lecture, Henke will provide insight into the complex interaction between the desire to achieve artistic results and the necessity of building the tools and instruments first. Taking his recent performative work CBM 8032 AV as a case study, he will examine the process of its creation and will shine a light on the challenges and happy accidents of such an endeavour.
Kindly supported by the Goethe-Institut, Glasgow and The Glasgow School of Art.
