UK Premiere
Musician and composer Marie Delprat and video artist Tom Lane draw upon that most familiar of settings: the waiting room. Entering a specially built environment, the audience are asked to take a number, take a seat and wait – but for what? Which bureaucratic wheels must turn before they can be seen, and by whom? A seasick electronic soundtrack churns, surveillance screens distort and glow, all adding to the growing sense of unease as we start to wonder whose number is up.
