Set in a darkened, ambiguous space, Hand To Mouth To is a mysterious performance. Lauded singer Keeley Forsyth has enlisted artistic collaborators to expand and rework her Hand to Mouth EP of 2025 for this reimagining, including pianist Matthew Bourne who joins on-stage, plus sonic interventions from Ross Downes. Excerpts from ‘The No-End House’, a specially commissioned response to the EP by acclaimed novelist Jean-Baptiste del Amo, slither in and out of a performance moving from starkly intimate to soaringly remote. What results is an experiment between song and theatre monologue, between gig and play, where new causalities and associations are made between Del Amo’s narrative and the song cycle.
